Ben Franklin Transit will hold two public hearings on Thursday, March 15, 2012.  They will be held at 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM in the conference room at Three Rivers Transit Center located at 7109 W. Okanogan Place in Kennewick.

The hearings are being held to receive public comment on a proposed fare increase that would go into effect in 2012.  The increase would be on all forms of payment for fixed route bus, Dial-A-Ride, demand response, night and contracted services. (see table on back)  The age for seniors to ride free would be increased to age 65 and college passes would be eliminated.
