Friday and Saturday Service

Ben Franklin Transit will be offering service to the Lamb Weston Columbia Cup boat races on Friday, July 27 and Saturday, July 28, 2007. Service will be available on Friday and Saturday from the Dayton Transit Center in Kennewick via Route 55. The bus will depart at :30 after the hour from 8:30 AM until 6:30 PM. The cash fare is $1.00 for adults and $ .65 for youth ages 6 - 18. Children 5 and under and adults 60 and over are free. Bus passes, 10 ride tickets and the Freedom Pass can be used as well as cash. Please call 735-5100 for information on routes in your neighborhood that will connect you with the Route 55.

Sunday Service

Ben Franklin Transit will be offering five different services to the "Columbia Cup" on Sunday, July 29, 2007. The single fare is only $1.00 each way for all ages and the Family Fare is only $2.75 each way for a family of three or more. The West end shuttle service is free. Services offered to the Columbia Cup on Sunday are as follows:

Transit Center Service to Columbia Park

From the Knight Street Transit Center in Richland and the Huntington Street Transit Center in Kennewick to the bus loading zone in Columbia Park. BFT buses leave the Transit Centers at 8, 9, 10, and 11 AM. The return trip will depart from the Columbia Park bus loading zone 15 minutes after the last race and return to the Transit Centers.

West End Shuttle

The West End Shuttle will run inside Columbia Park from 9 AM to 3 PM and leaves the park 15 minutes after the last race. This free shuttle service will drop off and pick up at the west end of the park. The West end shuttle service is free.

Columbia Park Shuttle Service

For those people wanting to leave Columbia Park before the last race is over, BFT will offer hourly shuttle service from the Columbia Park bus drop/loading zone, to the Knight Street Transit Center in Richland and the Huntington Transit Center in Kennewick, between 11 AM and 3 PM.

Pasco Side Service

The BFT Bus will leave the 22nd Street Transit Center in Pasco at 8, 9, 10 & 11 AM. The bus will travel down Sylvester, turn left onto Road 44 and drop off on Riverhaven at Road 44 and Road 39. The return trip will depart from Riverhaven 15 minutes after the last race.

Dial-A-Ride Service

On Sunday, July 29th, DAR service is available for eligible patrons only. The service is from 8 AM to 11 PM and costs $1.00 each way. DAR will leave the Columbia Park Water Follies Special Needs area located west of the bleachers 15 minutes after the last race. Rides must be reserved by noon Friday, July 27th.
