  • Minor Service Change – Sunday, March 8

    Starting Sunday, March 8, there will also be a minor service adjustment to Metro Route 1. Route 1 will continue north on George Washington Way and turn onto Knight Street to access the Knight Street Transit Center. The route will no longer travel down Jadwin Avenue westbound.

  • MEMORIAL DAY CLOSURE

    BFT WILL BE CLOSED IN HONOR OF THE HOLIDAY ON MONDAY, MAY 26. Tuesday, May 27 normal services resume.

    Ben Franklin Transit’s updated 2023-2028 Transit Development Plan (TDP) is available for review here. BFT has identified future transit improvements to the level of the Program of Projects e.g., a balance of budget against capital improvements.
