Polar Bear Plunge – The proceeds from the plunge go to support the Special Olympics in our region. The plunge is held in January at the Blue Bridge Boat Launch. Parking is limited and organizers expect over 1,500 people to observe. BFT will provide a shuttle from the parking lots by the Playground of Dreams and the Family Fishing Pond to the boat ramp from 10:30 AM until 2:30 PM.


Columbia Park Shuttle – First Monday after the last day of school for summer break through the third Saturday in August. This shuttle is for groups of 30 or more that wish to go into Columbia Park via the Family Fishing Pond and the Playground of Dreams. Shuttle is available from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM with five days advance notice. Shuttle will leave from the Dayton Transfer Point in Kennewick or Three Rivers Transit Center.


Allied Arts Show – Last Friday and Saturday in July. Shuttle runs from Fran Rish Stadium to the Federal Building parking lot to the Richland Community Center, 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM on Friday and 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM on Saturday.

Columbia Cup Boat Races – Last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in July. Ben Franklin Transit will provide shuttle service to and from the Lamb Weston Columbia Cup races on Saturday and Sunday. Times and locations to be announced. Dial-A-Ride service is available, but reservations must be made by 5:00 PM on Thursday for Friday and by noon on Friday for Saturday or Sunday.


Benton-Franklin Fair & Rodeo – Tuesday – Saturday, August 23– 27, 2016. Buses will depart Transit Centers, and other locations to be announced, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Dial-A-Ride service is available for eligible patrons from 9:00 AM through midnight every day of the fair with a one day advance reservation.

Buses run at night to serve the Benton-Franklin Fair, but Trans+PLUS Night Service DOES NOT.


Cable Bridge Run – Usually the 3rd Saturday in December. The 5K & 10K races finish at the Lampson Maintenance Shop in Big Pasco. A shuttle bus will be provided to transport runners from the 1 mile finish line to the maintenance shop and then back to the starting line with the shuttle leaving approximately every 30 minutes.
