Pink Buses Recognize Local Breast Cancer Fighters
October 19, 2026
Ben Franklin Transit (BFT) is marking Breast Cancer Awareness month with the Driven By Hope campaign. A bus and a Dial-A-Ride vehicle are wrapped with artwork featuring the names of dozens of local breast cancer fighters. The Dial-A-Ride vehicle was formally unveiled at Kadlec Tri-Cities Cancer Center’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month flag raising on October 1, 2026, and the Driven By Hope bus rolled out a few days later.
This campaign is the result of months of work by Ben Franklin Transit CEO Brian Lubanski and Marketing Director Tara Divers. BFT collected signatures to be featured on the Driven By Hope artwork at multiple community events from June-September 2026.
“Each of these signatures represents someone who faced a devastating diagnosis and kept fighting,” says Divers. “During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to recognize these brave members of our community and share a reminder that there is hope for everyone going through a cancer battle today.”
The Driven By Hope bus and Dial-A-Ride vehicle will be on the road through the end of October 2027.
