Bid & Contract Opportunities
Ben Franklin Transit has partnered with ProcureNow and is excited to announce that, as of June 23, 2021, we will transition from a paper-based bid solicitation process to a fully automated, web-based electronic bidding and vendor management system.
- Register to bid and receive notifications of future opportunities in the e-Procurement Portal by selecting Subscribe to create an account.
- You can follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and clicking the Follow button. This allows all interested parties to receive amendments and addenda automatically.
- Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations.
- Vendors are guided through the process of responding electronically to RFPs, bids, and other requests to ensure that submissions are completed accurately.
- Ultimately, this will be the sole location for all bid opportunities issued by Ben Franklin Transit.

Small Public Works Roster
Ben Franklin Transit is a participating member of the shared statewide small public works and consultant roster service administered by the Municipal Research and Services Center of Washington (MRSC). This nonprofit supports Washington local governments.
The Small Public Works Roster is an online roster following statute 39.04.155. Participating public agencies share it to search for eligible contractors and solicit bids for small works services, including construction, building, renovation, remodeling, alteration, repair, or improvement of real property. This alternative to advertising for bids on each project under $300,000 saves public agencies money, as does sharing the maintenance costs of this service rather than administering individual rosters.
Ben Franklin Transit encourages contractors to join the free-of-charge MRSC Small Public Works Roster by registering online and selecting Ben Franklin Transit in your application. Once registered, your company can receive bid notifications from Ben Franklin Transit and other public agencies searching for small public works services. Note: Not all public works projects will be solicited using the MRSC, e.g., FTA-funded public works projects and some medium to large public works projects.
