Bring Your Bike

Using the Bike Rack

Bike rack space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For safety reasons, our operators are unable to leave the bus to assist with bike placement. Please have your bike ready to load as the bus approaches and remove any water bottles or loose items that might fall off.

Bike Rack Capacity

Bike racks can carry a maximum load of 165 lbs, and the heaviest bike can weigh no more than 75 lbs.

The bike racks can accommodate bikes up to 61 inches long at their longest point and fit tires up to 2.5 inches wide at their widest point.

Follow These Steps When Loading Your Bike:

1

Approach Bike Rack

Approach the bike rack from the sidewalk side of the bus.

2

Lower the Rack

Lower the rack by squeezing the handle in the center. Check for instructions printed on the rack itself.

3

Place Bike on Rack

Place your bike onto the rack, ensuring both tires fit into the designated slots and the support hook secures the front tire.

4

Secure Your Bike

Pull the arm up and over the front tire to secure your bike in place.
